CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel and receiver retain 95% plus original blue, silvering very slightly on high edges, and where bbls come in contact with forend during firing. There is a very small area of minor pinprick pitting about an inch in front of the rear sight, which shows some evidence of cleaning. Frame retains 95% plus original blue, again silvered on a few high points, browning slightly on front grip strap and stock lug. Strawed parts show most of their original straw. Bright polished area under safety toggle is browning slightly. Interior of frame and receiver have a good deal of congealed oil, and could use a good cleaning. Grips show very slight wear with one or two diamonds missing. Forend shows most of its original finish with a few marks and dings from handling and use. Bore is good, slightly dark, and frosted throughout. Rifling is strong. An unmolested example of this important Luger variation. 4-39251 MGM74 (6,000-10,000)
