WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE PILLAR VASE. Exceptional Fairyland Lustre vase is decorated in the Pillar pattern with various scenes within panels created by vertical pillars. The scenes depict stairways, birds and fairies and are done against backgrounds that are white and blue. The pillars and trim are done in copper lustre with gold decoration and the neck and foot of the vase are finished with a bright green background. Signed the underside with faint Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood Made in England” and “Z4968”. SIZE: 11-7/8″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-69669 (12,000-15,000)
