ROSENTHAL PATE-SUR-PATE DINNER SERVICE. 20th century. Comprised of individual tea pot, milk pitcher, covered sugar and creamer; twelve 8-1/2″ dinner plates; eight 7-3/4″ salad plates; ten 6″ butter plates; four 6″ saucers; 5 coffee cups; five 6-1/2″ berry bowls. Each with molded ivory decoration of floral sprays, trellis work and C-scrolls on a sea-green ground, each with Rosenthal Ivory backstamp. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: One dinner plate with large chip on edge; three saucers with damage; two cups with spider cracks; one berry bowl with rim chips; covered sugar missing knob; teapot missing lid.
