OTIS PIERCE COOK (American, 1900-1980) GLOUCESTER HARBOR. Oil on canvas harbor scene shows two wharves with fishing boats alongside. It is low tide and there is a man in a boat working at the bow of one of the boats. Viewer looks across the harbor at a group of buildings under blue and white cloud sky. Signed lower right “Otis Cook”. Housed in its original painted wood frame with white wood liner. Inscribed on back in pencil “Otis Cook Gallery Bearskin Beck, Rockport July, 1962″. SIZE: 24″ x 20”.
