SYRACUSE LEFEVER E GRADE DOUBLE BARREL DAMASCUS SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Fine side lock shotgun with 28” bbls, choked FULL/IMPMOD, tapered matted rib with single bead and doll’s head extension, extractors and double triggers. Receiver and lockplates are lightly engraved with a flying duck on the left sideplates and a woodcock on the right, and fine foliate arabesque patterns. The company name and address is on each lockplate. Wood is nicely grained French walnut with a checkered splinter forearm and semi-pistol stock, 13-1/2” over an original hard rubber buttplate. This shotgun has been completely restored by Turnbull Restorations. SN 61652E. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains virtually all the fine restored finish to metal and wood, including the fine damascus patterns in the bbls.
