*SMITH & WESSON PRE-MODEL 29 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 44 mag. SN S169469. Scarce 4-screw with nickel finish, 6-1/2” bbl, red ramp & white outline sights, target trigger & hammer with coke bottle diamond checkered medallion magnum grips. Accompanied by an original Smith & Wesson black leatherette covered case with purple satin lining and tools. Also accompanied by a Smith & Wesson letter dated June 23, 1992 identifying this revolver as having been shipped June 21, 1957 to Sargent-Sowel Inc., Grand Prairie, TX. Also accompanying is a copy of the instruction pamphlet. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Has been fired but retains most of its original factory finish to both metal and grips. It has a few minor handling and use mars to the bright finish and a minor cylinder line. Grips show very minor diamond point wear, bright shiny bore. Box is sound with worn corners and chipped edges with light soil on the top. Hinge cover is partially torn and the satin lining in the bottom is worn around the sights. 4-51766 JR460 (1,250-1,750)
