OLD OLDSMOBILE FRICTION CAR IN ORIGINAL BOX. This is a Japanese friction car probably from the late 1940’s possibly from the early ’50’s. Its blue with an orange red pin stripe down the middle and with lots of nickel-plate ornamentation. The hood ornament is of a jet. It has old black rubber tires. It is in the original cardboard box which has a colored litho label on the lid. SIZE: 10″ long. CONDITION: Generally very good to excellent condition. The box has a 2″ break in the side. The car works. 1-27528 (500-700)
