MICKEY MOUSE CELLULOID NODDER. A desirable pre-war Japan celluloid Disney figure. Nodder action is achieved by winding elastic through body creating clockwork-like mechanism with pendulum at rear. Head nods side-to-side with graceful movement. Hand-painted Mickey is shown with banjo instrument seen in several of his early cartoons. Toy retains rare paper label at backside reading, “Mickey Mouse Copt. 1928, 1930 by Walter E. Disney.” SIZE: 7” h. CONDITION: Celluloid is near excellent with no apparent flaws. Image is bright and clean. This is the best working example we have carried. 1-1249 (900-1,200)
