TWO NIPPON ERA CORALINE VASES. 1. Bulbous form vase is decorated with an ornate coraline poppy pattern to front and back. Vase is further enhanced with two applied handles, blue coloration and finished with gold gilt. Marked on the underside “Patent Applied For No 38257” with other Oriental markings. 2. Bulbous form vase with long neck and scalloped rim is decorated with a coraline floral pattern with long stem and leaves. Vase is further enhanced with two applied handles and gold gilt to overall decoration. Vase is signed “US Patent NBR. 91217. FEB. 5. 1909″ with other Oriental markings. SIZE: 4″ and 5-3/4” t respectively. CONDITION: Both vases are very good to excellent with minor losses to coraline on both vases as well as roughness to the underside of feet. 5-65881 (200-400)
