*KRAG MODEL 1898 CUSTOM RIFLE. Cal. 30-40. SN 402346. Fine customized Krag with 23″ tapered rnd bbl, sleeve ramp front sight and a Redfield receiver sight. It has a fine commercial, adjustable replacement trigger. The top of the bbl and top of the receiver ring are drilled & tapped for an early scope base. It is mounted in a nicely figured straight grain walnut 1-pc stock with coarse checkered ribbon pattern forestock and pistol grip with black forend tip & cheek piece, 13-1/4″ over a Winchester style checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine. Retains about all of its beautiful custom finish with light wear on the top of the bbl and a few very scattered, very minor nicks on the wood with a cleaned spot at the heel. Mechanics are fine.. Strong, bright bore. 4-54393 JR145 (400-800)
