RARE CAT ANIMATED TOY CAP GUN. AN4. Maker unknown. Circa 1882. Cast iron japanned cat strikes cap on bottom of paw with top paw. Possibly the best formed animated cap gun. Marked on tail, “PAT. MAR 1482”. A wonderful gun – a must have! SIZE: 4-3/4″ l. CONDITION: Overall excellent. One side of gun has considerably more japanning than the other. MC 1-4262 (3,000-4,000)
