WILLIAM TROST RICHARDS (American, 1833-1905) THUNDERHEADS OVER BEACH WITH BREAKING WAVES. Oil on canvas Unframed Signed lower left “Wm T. Richards 05″ SIZE: 28″ x 48”. PROVENANCE: From a fine Augusta, Maine estate, this painting was unframed in the house as it was inset into the living room fireplace mantel. CONDITION: Surface dirt and varnish discoloration. An 8″ scratch, which appears white, in the right hand corner. Otherwise very good. 9-90490 (50,000-75,000)
