*EXTREMELY RARE ABERCROMBIE & FITCH MARKED LUGER WITH BEAUTIFUL A&F HOLSTER. SN 2879i. Cal. 30 Luger. Extremely rare DWM commercial Luger (only 100 made) with 4-3/4″ bbl, DWM scroll on front toggle link, Geniva cross & sunburst over chamber & marked in two lines “MADE IN SWITZERLAND / ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO NEW YORK” on top of bbl. It has proper reinforced rear frame well. Left side of extractor is marked “GELADEN” & thumb safety is unmarked, polished bright when lever is in SAFE position. Mounted with full checkered walnut grips & a correct unnumbered wood base magazine. Also accompanied by a foliate & floral tooled H.H. Heiser holster with buckstitch laced rear seam, full leather lined with Cheyenne plug, marked on back of belt flap in a round cartouche “ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO. / NEW YORK” with the Abercrombie & Fitch logo in center. Altogether a rare & beautiful Abercrombie & Fitch set. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine, all matching parts that are supposed to be numbered. Overall retains about 99%+ strong orig factory blue & about 99% orig strong straw colors. Grips are extremely sharp with beautiful wood grain showing through. Magazine is extremely fine & near new. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bore. Holster is exceptional with very minor wear & scuffs. 4-36101 JR196 & BS (12,500-17,500)
