DAUM NANCY PRESENTATION PITCHER. On an iridescent frosted ground featuring the engrisaille technique, this handled pitcher is a presentation piece which states: “Souvenir de L’Exposition 1900 Le Plus Grand Foudre du Monde Ad. Fruhinsholz Nancy”. The focal point of the design is a nude woman floating in the clouds with the sun behind her. This design is accented by an all-over berry and leaf pattern in black and clear with deep red berries and gold accents. This gold accenting is carried out on the applied handle, rim and spout. Signed “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine carved into bottom of pitcher. SIZE: 12″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-62530 (6,000-7,000)
