*WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION MUSKET.

*WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION MUSKET. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). SN 570597. Standard musket with 30” rnd bbl, full length magazine, three bands with square base front sight/bayonet lug and a 900 yard ladder rear sight. Mounted with nicely figured, uncheckered, straight grain, American walnut with full length forearm & straight stock with musket/carbine buttplate with trap. It has a sling loop on middle band and a corresponding loop on bottom of stock. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Retains virtually all of its brilliant finish to both metal & wood with crisp, sharp blue & vivid case colors, slightly faded on outer edges. Buttplate case colors are moderately faded. Stock has a scratch by receiver and a small scrape on forearm with a few other very minor handling & storage marks. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. The action still has orig grease.
