BEGGS LIVE STEAM TRAIN SET. A classic 19th century American outline live steam train set with engine, baggage car and passenger car. Engine wheel configuration is a 2-2-0 and two passenger/baggage cars. Original wooden box with directions for locomotive (missing lid). Included are 7 pieces of rounded wooden metal tracking for the set. Passenger cars are constructed of lithographed cardboard with painted tin roofs and tin end rail platforms (lacking on baggage car). A charming early train set. SIZE: Cars: approx 9-1/2″ l. Engine: approx. 11″ l. CONDITION: Lacking one small wheel on engine and boiler unit for locomotive. Small piece of cardboard litho missing on baggage car. Overall good plus. 1-11545 (650-850)
