*PARKER GHE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20ga. Built on an “O” frame with 28” bbls, tapered, matted rib with dbl ivory beads, marked with the makers’ name and address and “SPEC. STEEL”. Rib has dolls head extension and is marked on the bbl water table “SKEET IN / SKEET OUT”. It has ejectors and Parker single trigger. Receiver is typically G engraved with two ducks on left side, two pheasant on right side and two quail on trigger plate with “Parker” on the front of the receiver. Surrounding the vignettes is light floral arabesque patterns. Wood is nicely grained English or American walnut with checkered splinter forearm and straight stock 14-1/2” over a checkered buttplate. Plain teardrop side panels. SN 238485. CONDITION: Good, plus. Bbls retain traces of original blue with old cold blue over most of the surface. Receiver is a silver gray color. Stock has a couple of hairlines back of the top tang, otherwise shows moderate wear and retains most of an old refinish. Bores are bright and shiny. 4-48983 JR707 (1,500-2,000)
