FOUR MEISSEN TABLE WARES. First quarter 19th century. 1) Large platter decorated with a central floral spray surrounded by floral sprigs. 2) Bowl molded with flower heads and vinery arrayed in the Gothic taste, all heightened with gold leaf. 3) Bowl in underglaze-blue decorated with fan-shaped reserves containing flower filled baskets, all in the Oriental taste. 4) A molded pearlware teacup with scrolled handle. SIZE: 1) 18″ x 13″; 2) 10-3/4″ dia. 3) 4-3/4″ dia. 4) 2-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: 1) With hairline crack running through interior. 2) Some wear to gilded surfaces. 3) Very good. 4) Slight chips to handle and foot rim. Otherwise all very good. 9-23270 (400-800)
