THOMAS M. NICHOLAS (American, 1963-) WINTER ON MONHEGAN HARBOR. Large oil on canvas Maine scene show three lobster boats moored in Monhegan harbor overlooking the far shore with snow covered rocks, hill and two houses. The foreground cast in blue shadow has rock strewn shoreline with abandoned lobster traps. The sky in colorful tones from blue to pink. Signed lower left “T.M. Nicholas”. Housed in an outstanding gilt and carved wide wood frame. NOTE: This is the largest example of this artists work that we have had the pleasure to sell. SIZE: 36″ x 48″.
