*RARE SIG NAUHAUSEN MODEL PE-57 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. SN 4343. Cal. 7.5 Swiss. Black finish with 23″ bbl, tall adjustable front sight and micrometer adjustable rear sight. Bbl has 3 raised bands for firing rifle grenades with a bayonet lug on bottom of the front sight ring. Bbl shroud is pierce metal and there is a carrying handle in the receiver with a detachable 8-rnd box mag. Buttstock is made of black synthetic material with a large skeletonized understock and integral pistol grip. Left side lower group is marked “SIGARMS INC. / HERDON VA / Made in Switzerland”. This extremely well made rifle is renowned for its accuracy and reliability with its roller locking system. Few were ever imported into the U.S. Accompanied by factory cleaning kit, spare magazine sling and manual w/ test target. PROVENANCE: Alan Brown Coll. CONDITION: Extremely fine, probably unfired, all matching. Retains virtually all orig military style finish. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore.
