WILKINSON LEADED TABLE LAMP. Shade begins with striated green glass at top and shoulder of shade. The predominant pattern is of dogwood flowers in pastel hues in various stages of bloom. Behind the flowers earthen hued glass was used to create the foliage. Shade ends with an irregular scalloped border. Shade is supported by an ornate art nouveau style of base having acanthus leaf decoration at the platform foot and extending three quarters the way up the stem. Base is complete with three sockets, acorn pulls and finial. The lamp carries a desirable deep green patina. A similar example of this shade may be found in the book Mosaic Shades Vol II by Paul Crist, page 266, upper left. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Lamp is 27″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good with a few tight hairlines. Some looseness to scalloped border panels and some old solder repairs. Base is very good with replaced base plate and sockets. 5-62201 (2,750-3,750)
