*LC SMITH FIELD GRADE FEATHERWEIGHT DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. Scarce little gun with 26” bbls choked FULL/FULL. Raised matted rib with dbl red ivory beads, middle is broken. Double triggers and extractors. Water table is marked 3” chambers. Usual unengraved receiver and side locks with tiny checkered splinter forearm and semi-pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and serrated buttplate. SN FW93244. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbls retain 93-95% original blue turning slightly brown at the muzzle. Receiver and lockplates retain 70-75% original case colors fading to gray, strong and bright in sheltered areas. Forearm has an old crack that extends about 3-1/2” down from the tip. Otherwise, wood is sound and retains most of a very old refinish. Buttstock finish has been exposed to heat and is crackled on both sides and there are a couple of chips on the edge of the buttplate. The firing pin return springs are missing or broken and sometimes the barrels will catch on opening. Light pitting on the standing breech. Bright shiny bores. 4-48907 JR702 (2,000-3,000)
