*WINSLOW ARMS CUSTOM RIFLE. Cal. 458 Win Mag. SN WA30195. More traditional custom rifle built on a Winslow Arms marked Post-64 Winchester M.70 receiver. It has a 24″ tapered rnd bbl, ramp front sight, missing the blade and the rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases and the bolt body and follower are jeweled. It is mounted in a nicely figured 1-pc stock with blind magazine, rosewood forend tip and grip cap which is inlaid with an ivory diamond having the initials “AHG”. It has checkered forestock & pistol grip with Monte Carlo cheek piece and black waffle recoil pad. It has a palm swell on the right side of the grip and Winslow’s traditional sweeping ivory inlay with a leaping black lion. The bottom of the forestock has their small ivory shield inlay with knight’s helmet and the black & white triple diamond inlay on each side below the receiver. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Used very little, the metal retains most of its orig custom blue with a cleaned spot of rust on the receiver ring. Wood is sound and retains most of its bright orig custom varnish with some slight crazing on the rosewood forend cap. From the Collection of the late Allen Graves. 4-54362 JR79 (3,000-5,000)
