CHESTER-POLLARD FOOTBALL GAME. Designed for two players, this large arcade machine from the 1920’s-1930’s was a most popular attraction for youngsters wishing to compete with each other in a game of football. A coin being deposited in the slot and with a series of eleven players on each team, the ball would be kicked about the playing field until one team scored the victory. Anguishing in defeat, the opposing team / player would insist upon a re-match. The machine is in primarily untouched as-found condition with possible older restoration to the cloth uniforms.
