WEBB LAY DOWN SCENT BOTTLE. Very large lay down scent bottle of citron colored glass is painstakingly decorated in cameo with a morning glory design on the front with two butterflies over stalks on back. This bottle is complete with glass interior stopper and screw-down bulb cap that is engraved with what appears to be a coat-of-arms. Glass is unsigned, metalwork has appropriate hallmarks. The largest example of a lay down scent bottle we have ever offered. SIZE: 11″ l. PROVENANCE: Jim & Laurie Wroda Collection.
