THREE STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER DECORATED PLATES. 19th century. 1) From the “BEAUTIES OF AMERICA” series by “I & W RIDGWAY”, a small 10-1/2″ oval platter titled “COURT HOUSE/BOSTON”. 2) 10″ plate “LANDING OF GEN LA FAYETTE” with incised mark impressed “WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE CLEWS”. 3) 10-1/2″ plate with scalloped edge transfer decorated overall with Oriental garden scene with fanciful birds within floral border, with incised mark “WOOD”. SIZE: As noted. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Generally very good. 9-23340 (400-600)
