HANDEL HANGING GLOBE. Outstanding Handle globe is painted on the obverse with two vertical bands of heavily enameled stems, leaves and flowers alternating with two areas decorated with exotic bird among flowers and leaves. Decoration is done against a chipped ice iridescent amber background. Shade hangs in brass hardware with fluted rims on heat cap and top shade cap with finial below. Hardware has been painted black and gold. SIZE: Globe: 9-1/2 in. t. Overall length is approx. 30 in. CONDITION: Hardware is crudely painted, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-61525 (4,000-6,000)
