AMERICAN VICTORIAN WALNUT SECRETARY BOOKCASE. Second half 19th century. In two parts, the upper case fitted with a pair of molded glass panel doors, the lower case fitted with a hinged sloping lid opening to an arrangement of cubbyholes and drawers above a long drawer over a pair of cupboard doors; all applied with molded veneered panels and carved rosettes, the whole on a molded plinth. SIZE: 90″h. x 50″ overall w. x 17-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: The Geraldine B. Gabe Estate of Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Retains original cleaned surfaces, varnished over, no shelves present.
