*WINCHESTER MODEL 70 SUPER GRADE BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 375 H&H Magnum. SN 277717. Fine sporting rifle with third type 25″ tapered rnd bbl, ramp front sight with hood, no rear sight, the holes are plugged and it is mounted with a Lyman WJS receiver sight. It is mounted in a straight grain walnut stock with black tip forearm, checkered forestock and capped pistol grip with heavy cheek piece, 13-1/2″ over a solid red Winchester pad. It is fitted with deluxe bases & swivels. The floorplate is marked “SUPER GRADE”. A small green tag that is stamped “QUALITY CONTROL TEST GUN” accompanies it. Ex Peter & Patti Murray Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Metal retains virtually all of its fine orig factory finish with a couple small nicks on the edges of the floorplate. Wood is sound with several light handling & storage nicks and retains about all of its orig factory finish. Forearm tip has several small nicks & scratches and seems to have warped a little.
