WHITE MOHAIR TEDDY BEAR. Extremely large mohair teddy bear, probably from the 1920s? Bear is stuffed with straw, has felt pads on feet and probably replaced cloth pads on paws, amber glass eyes, head, arms and legs swivel as well as a black stitched cotton thread nose and mouth. Although not a Steiff bear, it has a very pleasing and warm appearance. Bear is dressed in a blue and white linen short set. SIZE: 31″ t. CONDITION: Bear must have been well loved, it shows some mohair loss on body and face. There is some re-stitching under the chin. 1-11426 (600-900)
