*CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN GRADE 5 WINCHESTER MODEL 21 2-BARREL SET. Cal. 20&28 ga. Extremely fine model 21 made by Tony Galazan’s CT. Shotgun Mfg. Co. Action in light weight. Set consists of 28” 20ga. Bbls, choked MOD/IMPCYL and 26” 28ga. Bbls, choked MOD/IMPCYL. Both bbls have ventilated ribs with single red ivory bead with “CUSTOM BUILT” near the chamber ends. It is equipped with ejectors and gold single selective trigger. It has one beaver tail forearm with wood being of exhibition quality in “E” style checkering, with checkered teardrop side panels on the stock, which is 14 1/4” over checkered butt and has a gold oval initial plate. Receiver is engraved with a standing cock pheasant vignette on left side, a standing turkey gobbler on right side and a setter carrying a bird on the trigger plate, surrounded with about 40% coverage, fine arabesque patterns which extend 3/4” over chambers. Accompanied by a Huey style oak and leather, maroon velvet lined trunk case with compartments for all parts and includes a square nickeled oil bottle and pair of 20ga & 28ga gold plated Winchester snap caps. Also contains a red & yellow hang tag and yellow box end label. It has brass corners with a center lock and heavy carrying handle. SN W38068. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Retains virtually all its original factory finish to both metal and wood. Appears new and unfired, although it has been assembled a number of times as there are scrapes on the standing breech.
