25” EARLY UNMARKED FRENCH FASHION DOLL. Cornflower blue glass eyes, swivel neck, separate bisque shoulder plate on all leather gusseted body. With lovely pale bisque, blonde feathered eyebrows and nicely highlighted painted lips, this doll is wearing an ivory brocade two piece dress with embroidered roses over a hoop skirt. A blonde mohair wig is over the original cork pate, white leather shoes with buckles and separate wooden heels, and an antique lime-green silk hat with lace trim complete this lovely look. CONDITION: Superlative quality bisque with Barrois-type face, leather body in overall clean and sturdy condition. RS 1-4488 (2,000-2,500)
