“SAY PLEASE” PARIAN GROUP SCULPTURE. Late 19th/early 20th century. A well rendered bisque statue depicting a barefoot child seated and holding a bowl of food, opposite a large dog peering down at the child expectantly. SIZE: 10-1/2″ h. x 15-1/2″ l. x 10-1/4″ w. PROVENANCE: From an East Sangerville, Maine private collection, by descent from Alice Hooker Davidson of Brooklyn Heights, New York, to the present owner, a grand-daughter. CONDITION: Very good overall, with one small flake at end of base rim. 9-94952 (400-600)
