5¢ MILLS TWO COLUMN FRONT VENDOR WITH JACKPOT. Finely restored Mills slot machine from the late 1920s, this model features a two column front mint vendor with a starburst indented jackpot and fortune reel strips. The purpose of the mint vendor was to circumvent gambling laws and give the illusion that a player was actually purchasing mints rather than gambling. Oak cabinet has been expertly restored and overall appearance of machine is excellent. Machine comes with a finely crafted oak stand with polished aluminum legs and owl adorning front door. SIZE: 16″ w x 16″ d x 25″ h. CONDITION: Overall very fine restored condition. Marquee is later replacement, lacking small casting behind coin head. 1-8690 JLO (1,250-1,750)
