UNUSUAL ROCOCO MAHOGANY MARBLE TOP CENTER TABLE. Third quarter 19th century. The shaped white marble turtle-top with molded edges above the conforming apron decorated with carved scrolling leaftips centering shield-form cartouches, the corners with pendant acorn finials, joined to a bulbous hexagonal standard, raised on S-scrolled outswept legs, carved with leaftips and stylized dolphins. SIZE: 29-1/4″ h. x 38-1/2″ l. x 27″ w. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Structurally sound, with a later finish. 9-94842 (800-1,500)
