*PERAZZI MX8 DROP TRIGGER EXTRA GRADE OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN. Cal 12ga. Older model, extremely fine Perazzi 2 bbl set with 28-3/8 bbls and 29-1/2” bbls. Both with ventilated ribs and double beads. Both sets of bbls are marked “IMPORTER-PERAZZI-USA/MONROVIA-CALIFORNIA”. Wood is extremely highly figured marble-cake honey and chocolate Circassian walnut with a checkered beavertail forearm with grasping grooves and the stock with raised side panels, palm swell and square pistol grip and is 14-1/2” over a black Decelerator pad. Receiver and forend iron are beautifully engraved with banknote style engraving with 3 raised gold ducks on the left side in a marsh scene and 3 raised gold ducks in a marsh scene on the right side with 3 more raised gold ducks in a marsh scene on the floorplate. At the top of the panel on the bottom in raised gold is “EXTRA”. All the surrounding surfaces are deeply engraved with extremely fine foliate arabesque patterns with matching engraving on the forend iron. Left side game scene is signed by master engraver “R. GRECO”. Fitted with ejectors and single selector trigger and both sets of bbls have been modified for Briley chokes with a total of ten chokes accompanying. Also accompanying is a small Perazzi marked box containing a wrench, 2 spare firing springs and 2 spare hammer springs. Also accompanying is the owners manual and warrantee card in a Perazzi wallet and the long take down wrench. Also accompanies is a Perazzi hard shell plastic case for the gun and a separate small case for the spare bbls with their black flannel sleeves. SN 81218. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, retains virtually all its original finish to both metal and wood with minor handling and use marks on the wood.
