*BERETTA MODEL S06EELL FINE DELUXE SPORTING OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Spectacular deluxe shotgun with 28” screw choke bbls, ventilated rib with one bead. Receiver, trigger guard and foreend iron are coin finish with the lockplates having game scenes of 2 raised gold pintail ducks in a marsh scene on the left side and 2 raised gold mallards in a marsh scene on the right side and a raised gold cock pheasant in a field scene on the bottom. All surrounded with deep, stippled background, foliate arabesque patterns with flowers on the trunnion bosses and opening lever. Opening lever tab is filigree and it has a raised gold crown. Engraving is signed on the trigger plate “F.FERRANTE”. Trigger is gold plated and the trigger guard has “SPORTING” in gold. Wood is highly figured burl Circassian walnut with orange tones. Forearm is checkered beavertail with grasping grooves and the stock with pistol grip is 14-1/2” over a smooth thin solid red recoil pad. Accompanied by a fine green canvas and leather trunk case, green felt lined with compartments for the bbls and receiver with another compartment for a beautifully made 3-pc walnut and brass wiping rod and another compartment that contains two spare choke tubes, a portable cleaning kit, a choke tube wrench and two snap caps. Also enclosed is the owners manual and warrantee. SN C13318B. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine. Bbls retain 98-99% strong original blue with minor wear under the forearm. Receiver retains virtually all its original coin finish. Wood is sound and retains about all of its original fine satin finish. Brilliant shiny bore.
