*SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1898 KRAG RIFLE. Cal. 30-40. SN 443223. Standard rifle with 30” bbl, ski jump rear sight, 1-pc wood stock with short hand guard. The left side of the wrist has a legible “1903” cartouche. CONDITION: Good. Retains about 90% dull original finish overall with a mottled blue sideplate and moderately pitted cartridge box. Stock is sound with usual handling & use marks, a crack in the hand guard and retains fine smooth patina. Good mechanics, dark worn bore. 4-51140 JR1049 (300-500)
