HUBLEY INGERSOLL RAND COMPRESSOR TRUCK. Perhaps one of the most sought after of the Mack truck series. This is the only known orange version and is in remarkable all original untouched condition. Purported to have been bought by Julian Thomas directly from Clarence Brubaker who was a long time employee of the Hubley toy company. Enameled in orange with a nickel plated compressor and enameled black tanks. Further enhanced with gilt trim and balloon rubber tires. SIZE: 8″ l. PROVENANCE: From the collection of the late Larry Seiber of San Jose, CA. CONDITION: Very fine to near mint with a few minor chips to paint. 1-9077 (3,500-4,500)
