*1903 SPRINGFIELD HOFFER THOMSON TRAINING RIFLE. Cal 22. SN 207154. 24” bbl. This example of the ultra-rare Springfield Gallery Practice rifle with a bbl dated “Jan 1915” and has “22” stamped on receiver bridge and bolt lug. “22” is not stamped on bayonet lug or stock which is a no bolt stock and could be a replacement. Has 2800-yd rear sight, windage knob and stacking swivel are WWII replacements. JSA inspected with checkered buttplate. Gun comes with shipping crate and five orig adapters. Mechanically fine. CONDITION: Overall gun shows fine condition with scattered light pitting on front of bbl and 95% orig blue with the most wear being on the floorplate and lower band assembly. 4-57814 BK8 (5,500-8,500)
