*BROWNING BAR MULE DEER WHITE TAIL DEER COMMEMORATIVE, 1 OF 600 SEMI-AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 437PY00385. Gorgeous Browning hunting rifle with 22″ tapered round bbl, French gray receiver and spectacular burl stock & forearm that has carved fine checkering with a dot border. It has a beavertail forearm and semi-pistol grip stock, 13-7/8″ over a Browning black composition buttplate. The receiver is beautifully engraved with a large vignette of a mountain scene with two mule deer bucks & a doe and a ribbon embossed “ONE OF SIX HUNDRED” on the left side. At the rear of the receiver is a very large raised gold mule deer buck. The right side has a hill and meadow scene with three white tail bucks and a ribbon embossed “385 OF SIX HUNDRED” and at the rear has a raised gold white tail buck. The bottom of the right side vignette is artist signed “M. DI FRANCO”. The bottoms of the magazine box & trigger guard have fine intertwined foliate arabesque patterns, which are also found over the top front & rear of the receiver. The top left of the receiver is engraved “MULE DEER” and the top right is engraved “WHITE TAIL DEER”. The receiver is mounted with Redfield base & rings containing a 30 mm Zeiss 1.5-6X scope. Its orig walnut carrying case with red velvet lining and an owner’s manual accompanies it. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new, appears to be unfired retaining virtually of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Case is equally new. Crisp, clear optics. 4-54064 JR719 (2,500-4,000)
