*PARKER DHE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 16ga. Built on a No. 1 frame with 26” bbls with tapered matted rib, brass front bead and ivory middle bead marked with the makers’ name and “TITANTIC STEEL” marked on the water table “SKEET IN/SKEET OUT”. Receiver is very nicely engraved with “D” patterns of a setter on the left side, a pointer on right side and four pheasants on trigger plate. All surrounded with about 70% coverage fine, foliate arabesque patterns. Trigger guard and opening lever are matching engraved. Wood is nicely figured center crotch cut walnut with long checkered beavertail forearm and straight stock 13-1/2” over a skeleton buttplate. It is equipped with ejectors and Miller single trigger. SN 239302. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 97-99% strong bright original blue with a few tiny pinpoints of light surface rust near the muzzles. Receiver retains about 90% case colors with the balance turning silver. Trigger guard has been cleaned on the outside and the long bottom tang finish is thin. Wood is sound and retains virtually all of its fine piano varnish finish with a couple of small dings on the buttstock and a scrape near the buttplate. Forearm has a couple of minor scrapes.
