*EXTREMELY RARE DWM 1920 COMMERCIAL LUGER WITH GRIP SAFETY AND 6″ BARREL. SN 1130t. Cal. 30 Luger. Rare long bbl commercial with 6″ bbl, DWM scroll on front toggle link, crown “N” proof on left side receiver and “GERMANY” export mark on left top side of bbl. Fitted with full checkered walnut grips & accompanied by an orig “GERMANY” marked wood base magazine. Bbl is unnumbered. Thumb safety area is marked “GESICHERT” in bottom position & extractor is marked “GELADEN”. An unusual configuration that is in beautiful orig condition. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine, overall retains about 98-99% strong orig factory blue & about 97-98% orig factory straw colors with some thinning on thumb safety & face of trigger. Grips are sound showing light wear with a few scattered chipped diamonds and show dark wood grain through checkering. Magazine is near mint.
