*PARKER BHE TWO BARREL SET. Cal. 12ga. Built on a 1-1/2 frame with 28” bbls, choked FULL/IMP MOD and 30” bbls, choked IMP MOD/IMP MOD. Both bbls are marked on the top rib with the makers’ name and address and “ACME STEEL”. Both ribs are tapered, concave with matted tops and have doll’s head extensions. Both are fitted with ejectors and the receiver has a Parker single trigger. Receiver is beautifully engraved with two pointers on point on the left lock plate, two setters on point on right side and two flying geese on the trigger plate all surrounded by very fine foliate arabesque patterns. Fences are matching engraved and have a single scallop on each side. Foreend iron is also matching engraved. The forearm lugs on the bbls are numbered 1 & 2 respectively and the forearms are correspondingly numbered. Wood is highly figured, marbled French walnut with both forearms fully checkered and the pistol grip stock with fleur-de-lis patterns. It has raised, carved, checkered, fleur-de-lis side panels and is 14” over a skeleton butt. Grip cap has a large gold oval inlay with the initial “WWG”. Accompanied by a fine maroon felt lined trunk case with a Parker label in the lid. SN 207716. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with both sets of bbls retaining virtually all their fine rust blue. Receiver retains 98-99% strong bright original case colors. Wood is sound and retains about all of its fine hand rubbed oil finish with minor handling and use marks. Bores are brilliant and shiny.
