*1903 SPRINGFIELD RIFLE. Cal 30-06. SN 451520. 24” bbl dated “Nov 1910” with fair bore. Has single bolt stock without relief and high humped grooved hand guard. Floor plate catch is broken and floor plate does not stay in. Smooth buttplate, orig sights. Mechanically fine. CONDITION: Receiver and bbl assembly has 80-85% of what appears to be orig finish with most wear being to the front band and trigger guard assembly. Single bolt stock is in good condition with handling marks. Hand guard has several cracks present. There are also numerous minor dents to the trigger guard assembly. Bore is bright with some pitting about halfway down. A good example of an orig 1910 transitional rifle. 4-57820 BK7 (1,500-2,500)
