GOTTSCHALK BLUE ROOF PAPER LITHO HOUSE. Before WWI all of these Gottschalk houses had a signature colored blue roof. House has brightly lithographed papers with upper and lower porches, wood and metal railings, turned columns supporting porches. Brightly lithographed chimneys and white painted stairs. House has two opening doors. Also appears to have its original glass windows with original curtains and original interior wallpaper. SIZE: 19-1/2″ to top of chimney. CONDITION: Colors of the lithographed paper are still vibrant with all of the hand painted turned rails and columns in excellent condition. Overall definitely a superior example of this type of house. The only negative is someone had drilled two holes in the back for lights. Front of house opens with slight stickiness. 1-11432 (1,200-1,800)
