THREE ENGLISH DECORATED TEAPOTS. 18th and 19th centuries. 1) Creamware example with polychrome floral decoration in manner of William Greatbatch. 2) Leeds ware floral decorated example with strap handle and floral knop. 3) With incised mark “WOOD”, ribbed and molded example with scrolling floral polychrome midband and floral knop. SIZE: 1) 3-3/4″ h. 2) 4-1/2″ h. 3) 4-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: 1) Craquelure and some discoloration, otherwise very good. 2) Some abrasions and paint loss to flowers, otherwise good. 3) Overall minor losses to painted areas and to gilding with flecks on spout, but overall very good. 9-23234 (800-1,200)
