*1903 REMINGTON RIFLE. Cal 30-06. SN 3021862. 24” bbl dated “12 – 41”. 1903 Remington made in 1941 are very rare and desirable ‘03’s. This specimen is in excellent condition retaining most of its orig parts with the exception of the stock. CONDITION: Receiver retains 95% of its orig finish with what appears to be some touch-up on the rear receiver bridge. Bbl is in 98% of its orig condition as are the bbl bands which are both Remington as should be. The rear sight is correct retaining most all of its orig finish on the sight and sleeve with one small scratch approx. 1/2” long on the sleeve. The bolt retains 98% of its orig finish as does the trigger guard. The floorplate contains most of its finish though there are initials and a “SSN” inscribed in it. The buttstock is “RLB” cartouched although it is not a finger groove buttstock and thus four to six months later than the gun. The buttplate is smooth as it should be retaining 98% of its orig finish and there is a web sling on the gun although it is late WWII or later. 4-57824 BK32 (700-1,300)
