SMITH & WESSON SCHOFIELD 1st MODEL ARMY REVOLVER W/HOLSTER. SN 2663 matching on cylinder. Cal. .45 Schofield. 7” ribbed rnd bbl. Standard markings on both sides of the bbl. “US” at the front of the grip base. The cartouche on the left side of the stock is partially visible but not readable; no cartouche on the right. The two-hole holster is marked “ROCK ISLAND / ARSENAL”. CONDITION: 50% blue on the frame; strong traces elsewhere. Casehardening colors have completely faded from the hammer & trigger guard. Grips are worn with minor chips at the heel. Holster is badly cracked and flaked with the seam 80% open. Mechanically fine. 4-53863 (4,000-5,000)
