TWO “ROYAL CHINA WORKS” WORCESTER RETICULATED VASES. First half 19th century. The first a reticulated vinery vase in cream glaze with gilt rim, marked beneath “Royal China Works, Worcester. #2054”. The second with bands of reticulated scrolling vinery alternating with bands of pink enamel dots. Marked beneath the vase, the symbol for Royal China Works. In addition, hand-painted “356/3001”. Additionally marked with the retailers stamp “SHREVE CRUMP & LOW CO./BOSTON” SIZE: First 7 1/2″ h. Second 5″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones.
